Our history

We have been established for a number of years as South Downs Antiques & Interiors, retailing predominantly Antiques and collectables.

We found we were being requested to clear household and commercial waste by our customers. So in 2018 we decided that it was time to rebrand ourselves to South Downs Clearance, but still retain the showroom aspect, albeit online only.

We offer a licensed clearance from a single item, a box of bric-a-brac, to a whole house, flat, container, shed, garage, loft, shop etc. We feel that we are one of Sussex's most professional and environmentally-friendly waste removal companies.

  •  We hold Public Liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
  •  We are regulated by the Environmental Agency as a licensed waste carrier. Licence number CBDU196087.
  •  We dispose of all waste at licensed waste sites.
  •  We are a vetted Checkatrade member.
